KEY COMPONENTS OF MY PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP

"Serve the people who are serving the people" -Ian Fuhr

* Learning is a fundamental right. Everyone deserves access to high-quality, rigorous instruction. Therefore, classrooms should provide authentic learning experiences, hold high expectations for all, and promote student ownership through a student-centered environment.

* There is power in partnerships. Family and community involvement in the school community matters.  We must educate the future together and change the way people engage with schools beyond their own experiences.

* Support and serve. Teachers must find ownership in their craft and their passions needs to be fostered in order to help them continue to grow and be innovative.

* Strong relationships impact change.  A servant leader builds trust through nurturing and supporting a positive school culture focused on staff and student learning and SEL.

* Empower people to be their best self.  Through top-notch professional learning, coaching, and feedback we can develop a culture of learning that is growth minded and current with educational research.
